The liberated feeling of waking up on New Year’s Day without any regrets from 2023 and feeling integrated, whole, and cared for
– that was me!
How about you?
How’s your start to the New Year?
Pantone’s 2024 Color of the Year: Peach Fuzz
Happy New Year!
I am full of gratitude, love my clients, and work as The Coach for The WHOLE You, and I have reflected on my 2023 year full of purpose, meaning, and growth -tremendous growth.
Important to note:
This inner peace isn’t because 2023 was the unattainable perfect, because it was not. But most of my resources in Q3 and Q4 outside of rewarding client work went to work through what needed to be dealt with. I felt all the feels, celebrated, grieved, and then released the energy and circumstances so I could truly start the year fresh, focused, energized, and expectant.
2023 HIGHLIGHTS
- Ran my 8th half-marathon in Arizona, solo
- Volunteered with The Doctor of Love & Kindness to mentor underprivileged and abused second graders through Gabriel’s Angels ABC program for dog therapy teams
- Equipped emerging leaders with clarity, confidence, and tools at Amazon’s Women in Leadership Summit in California
- Co-Emceed the South Sound Women to Watch Event
- Continued to support clients in understanding their unique genius for impact, visibility, leadership, and promotion (Pantone’s color of the Year is Peach Fuzz).
- Witnessed incredible breakthroughs and transformations for clients experiencing fear to freedom life coaching
- Celebrated my 10th wedding anniversary with my husband, Kelly, in Greece
- Adopted Einstein, a 2-year-old rescue in October (remember the 21 doodles that were dumped up in Whatcom County in August? His rescue story!)
2023 GROWTH MOMENTS
- Unfortunately, I had two deeply personal losses. In August, my teammate, teacher, and fur baby, The Doctor of Love & Kindness passed away. I celebrated Doc’s memory, life, and brand legacy as a volunteer therapy dog -what a guy – as he would have been six years old yesterday on New Years Eve. In October, my niece (chosen family) who was only 19, passed away. Both were sudden and unexpected. And both have pulled me closer to my greater purpose which is to champion folks as they move from fear to freedom, transform, and step into their authentic identity, purpose, and potential. With great love, I have beautifully committed to celebrating and honoring them both, as well as myself, in the process of healing so I can take all my learnings and positively apply them to my work, relationships, and life. What I know to be true? There is room for BOTH / AND living and mindset is everything. I’ve written about BOTH / AND living quite about on LinkedIn and Uniquely Savvy’s Facebook pages. In a nutshell, there is room for celebrating the WINS and working through the losses. For the most part, we get to decide what we want to create and what we want to experience in our lives despite the circumstances that surround us.
Thank you for your business, friendships, and camaraderie.
I felt so graciously supported by many of you, and, besides many professional wins, I was also available to personally be of support to others.
Don’t you love how authentic relating and community work?
When we courageously show up as our best selves no matter the circumstances we remain available for success and celebration both for ourselves, our clients, and those we love!
Hope you had a fabulous holiday season and cheers to MORE in ’24,
XO
