Authenticity. Empathy. Self-Awareness.
How are you incorporating these attributes and values into your personal brand and online presence?
I previously interviewed Tuula Rytila, Coroporate VP of Microsoft Digital Stores, for a presentation at the National Association of Women with MBAs conference and career fair in Chicago.
Tuula shares timeless leadership wisdom and I thought you might be interested to listen in.
When it comes to personal branding, keep in mind that everybody has a brand.
- Your brand is about how you show up.
- Your brand is about your identity and “story” that tells who you are and of the value you bring to your career, relationships – and the experience that clients, colleagues, prospects, friends, and family can expect to have with you.
- It includes your personality, unique value of contribution, skills, talents, experience, vision, values, goals. And it also includes things like your professionalism, character, integrity, reliability, time management, etiquette – and so much more.
When was the last time you reflected on your brand identity/messaging and honed it to be true to who you are TODAY?
TIP:
Think of your wardrobe and appearance as your brand packaging. More on that later.
Cheers to bringing your best authentic self to the world,
