Ahhhhhh. Client follow up calls are always extra pick me ups cause I’m lucky enough to work with some pretty neat folks!
Today was extra special as I called to check in with the Father-of-the Bride.
Engaged and excited about our work together, he was telling me how his alterations turned out for his sport coat and trouser ensemble…He was also genuinely friendly and curious about what I was up to since we worked together a couple weeks back (on his birthday)…Then asked when we were going to come up to the island (Orcas) to visit he and his wife. “Everybody needs a vacation.”
Made my day!
This gentleman is not a shopper, doesn’t like the thought of the hassle and was simply obliging his wife who’s idea it was to work with me for the wedding festivities…
That he was happy then, gave a great report on one of the occasion outfits already, said the 3 hour shopping trip was “fun and painless”…and offered a visit?
I’d love to attract more clients like that!
