….Worked with a Doc to create a look for him which accurately communicates his personal brand attributes:  experience, approachable, visionary, and integrity – to name a few…Don’t want to give away his unique look, but wow, I’ll give ya a nugget to noodle on!

To begin with we hit the mark with beautiful designer shirts.  YES, they cost a bit more, but they are worth the investment.

TIP: 

Consider cost-per-wear of your purchases.  Something may seem expensive at face value, but before the price tag turns you around pause.  Determine how often you will wear the piece, along with the laundering/dry cleaning expense, quality, and the life of the garment.

COST PER WEAR EXAMPLE:

• Shirt $150
• Life: 1 yr. estimate
• Number of Wears:  1 time each week for 52 weeks
• Dry Cleaning:  $.99 weekly for 52 weeks = $51.48

• Total Price for 1 Year = $201.48
• Total number of Wears = 52

• Total cost-per-wear = $3.87

FOR CONSIDERATION:

If you experienced amazing confidence when you wore that shirt, or could give a stronger speech, network more boldly, or win more business – would it be worth the $3.87 each time you donned it?   If the fit, color, and detail spoke the language you wish to communicate…would it be worth $3.87 per wear?

TIP:

If you’re on a budget, to offset the cost of your key investment pieces, save money on pieces where you can afford to skimp a little bit.  In this example, we created value by picking up nice, quality ties, but at lower price point from Macy’s……7 ties + an unexpected casual shirt = $258 and some change.

This Doc definitely wants to up his game – it was time for his visual brand to align with what he delivers as a professional.  He wanted to be aligned, look sharp & live smart…..We did it (and he said it was… fun!).
